Client Spotlight:
Marvin Webb, Founder & CEO, Nonprofit Operations

Kloss Creatives is proud to spotlight Nonprofit Operations (NPO), the groundbreaking platform reshaping how nonprofit professionals navigate their careers and how organizations hire with transparency, justice, and long-term sustainability in mind.

Founded by Marvin Webb, a respected nonprofit finance and HR leader with extensive executive experience in philanthropy, NPO was born from a simple but transformative belief: Strong financial, HR, and operations professionals are essential to a nonprofit’s success. Yet too often, the people who keep missions running quietly behind the scenes do not receive the visibility, transparency, or support they deserve when navigating their own careers.

NPO was created to change that.

Unlike traditional job boards, NPO goes beyond posting listings. The platform provides job seekers with three years of financial and demographic analysis for every job, offering insight into compensation, organizational stability, leadership diversity, and overall workplace equity. This level of transparency is rare in the nonprofit sector and gives candidates the information they need to make sustainable, values-aligned career decisions. As Webb explains, the team is “built by nonprofit professionals who know the challenges firsthand,” and that perspective guides every part of the work.

NPO also champions a justice-centered approach to hiring. Candidates can feel confident that roles featured on the platform prioritize sector-wide standards around equity, fair compensation, and healthy workplace culture. The weekly NPO newsletter has become a trusted resource, pairing curated roles with thoughtful insights about career pathways, organizational sustainability, and emerging nonprofit trends.

Webb’s background deepens the heart of the NPO mission. Before becoming a finance and HR executive, he spent 17 years as a professional modern dancer in New York City, an experience that shaped his creativity, adaptability, and deep appreciation for purpose-driven work. After earning multiple advanced degrees and dedicating his career to strengthening nonprofits, he launched NPO to uplift others to do the same.

As NPO celebrates its one-year anniversary, the team is preparing to release a first-of-its-kind research initiative analyzing trends across posted jobs and 990 data. The goal is simple: Bring more clarity, accountability, and justice to nonprofit hiring and leadership—helping job seekers and organizations alike make informed, equity-driven decisions.

We’re honored to partner with Nonprofit Operations and to support Webb’s vision of a nonprofit sector where transparency is standard, career pathways are strengthened, and the people doing critical operational work receive the recognition and opportunities they deserve.
